This piece was inspired by a remarkable woman from my church, Daylight Christian Center Church. She shared with me a powerful testimony about surviving a stroke years ago and the journey of relearning many basic functions. I had no idea she had faced such a profound challenge, and her story moved me deeply. It was an honor to create this painting as a reflection of her strength and faith. The courage with which she described how God carried her through the storm was both humbling and inspiring—this artwork is my interpretation of her request.
