She came from outer space—lost, nameless, and unsure of her purpose or place in the universe. For years, her only guide was the television strapped to her head. It fed her thoughts, beliefs, and identity, shaping her with every word and image it broadcast. She obeyed it, trusted it, followed it—never questioning.
But one day, a deep grief stirred within her, unlike anything she had ever felt. A cry welled up from her soul, and she pleaded with the TV, begging to be free. She knew—this wasn’t life. This wasn’t truth.
Then, without warning, she felt a presence beside her. Drawn to it, she drifted closer and found an opening—an endless void calling her name. She floated inside.
In an instant, she was grounded. The grip around her neck loosened, and she felt the weight begin to lift. As her hands reached for the television, a large pair of scissors appeared—sharp, divine—and with one clean cut, they severed the cord that bound her.
She was finally free.
